There's plenty to ramble on about today, especially since I havn't written in a few days. But rather than write, I'll direct you to a couple letters I just recived from my cousin whose husband is in Iraq with the NC National Guard. He just deployed in January and this has been a very difficult time with all the unrest these past few weeks.
Shortly after arriving in theatre his unit lost one of their own, SPC Jocelyn Carrasquillo.
The first letter is the CO's March letter to the families.
The second is a longer letter from the units chaplin, CH(LTC) Dennis Goodwin, who reports on Easter morning and services in Iraq. It is a very moving tale with a beautiful picture of the Iraqi sunrise.
Keep these men and women in your prayers.
