Just a quick note on another item of interest. An article in the April 20th edition of USA Today caught my eye. Talk about letters from Iraq!
The story is about Iraqi bloggers and how they are trying to get the real news about what's happening there to the world.
Omar Fadhil's blog, Iraq The Model, tells of his life and the lives of his two brothers. One brother also is a dentist, and the other is a pediatrician. "We wanted to help bridge the gap, not just between the U.S. and Iraq, but with the entire Islamic world."
Despite threats from militants and detractors these courageous souls are using technology to exploit their new found freedoms.
"I am not afraid," Ali says. "I was afraid all my life. I will not go back to living in fear."
