How trustworthy is Richard Clark's testimony. He seems to be a study in self-destructive contradiction. From all accounts, there was a time when he was a man of integrity. Now he seems to be little more than a mystery, a man with an un-named agenda. Sad.

With the high court considering the "Under God" phrase in the pledge, it's sad that this is the apparent result of a struggle over custody of a child. Sadder yet that should the Supreme Court side with the plaintiff, the victory for the secularists come because of a moment of emotional and spiritual weakness of a born-again Christian. How far reaching our actions, seemingly small and isolated, can be.

After a period of quiet on the Iraqi front, the loss of American lives has increased the past two weeks. This coinciding with the train bombing in Spain, the increase in targeting civilians in Iraq and the anniversary of the beginning of the Iraq war. It certainly cannot be coincidental. The plans of al Queda are ongoing and no doubt pointed our direction.
